"We had a fabulous time at Las Palmeras, Roses. A wonderful place to sit and watch the world go by with a cool drink right by the sea. We loved it so much we had dinner here too. We didn't book ahead but they squeezed us in. The croquetas are excellent, as are the green peppers and the 14.90 menu is delicious and great value. The fish is fresh and presented beautifully! The wine is good! The desserts excellent! Thank-you Las Palmeras team for looking after us so well"

"we’ve popped in for a drink everyday but left it til our last evening to eat….. what a mistake - it was fabulous! service has always been great - but tonight they were stretched it was so busy all evening. even the owner was clearing tables! "The restaurent is in 2 mins walking distance to our campsite, right next to a beach walkway. Very friendly staff and multi-language speaking. We tried their fideuá catalana (Catalan Pasta Paella) which have to order for 2ppl (in other restaurants too), it’s very tasty, especially the crispy bites! The dessert, Crema catalana was good as well, especially the crunchy sugar on the top!"

"We got someone else's food. Paella with chicken and some fish, but it turned out to be seafood paella. I would never have ordered it myself. But since we'd already started, we devoured the whole thing. The table next to us had to wait a bit longer. They thought it was funny. Even though I'm not a fish lover, we enjoyed it with a nice glass of sangria. The atmosphere was pleasant, but it was very busy. You sometimes have to wait."

"I was with my boyfriend, we went to 4 restaurants before, and I have to say, this one won the “competition”! The staff is polite, the service is amazing (less than 5min to receive your order) and everything tasted good! We strongly recommend!"

"We were a little skeptical going to this restaurant based on how it it looked outside, but the food and service is worth it. We ordered a salad with goats cheese and one of the specialty dishes with all sorts of seafood and potatoes. Everything was very delicious! Also the alcohol free mojito is unreal!"

The location is fantastic—just steps from the sand, which really adds to the laid-back, summery atmosphere. The service was average—not bad, but nothing that stood out. The food was solid with some tasty options, and the highlight for us was definitely the ice cream. Creamy, flavorful, and the perfect treat on a hot day. All in all, we enjoyed our visit and appreciated the setting. While it was a good experience, we’d likely opt to try somewhere new next time—there’s just so much to explore around here!"
